frequently asked questions
Q: When is the best time to have my newborn session?
A: Within 10 days of birth is preferred. This is because the baby sleeps 90% of the time in the first few days making Nick's life easier. Any later and the shoot becomes a bit more tricky. Thats not to say you shouldn't have one if its past 10 days, it just means Nick has to work a bit harder!
Q: Where can I have the shoot?
A: Anywhere! I can come to you with my portable studio or you can come to me at home in Warwick, or my new studio set up in Duncraig
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: The baby is a good start! Bring along any props or blankets which are significant, Nick holds a large selection of backdrops and props as well that you able to pick and choose from.
Q: What if baby has an accident?
A: Not a problem. Nearly all of Nick's shoots have resulted in a little mishap of some sort. Nick has towels and absorbant pads ready to go! All props/backdrops are washed prior to each session.
Q: Can I come early and feed baby?
A: Yes, I encourage it. A well fed baby is generally a sleepy baby. The studio is temperature regulated and private, ideal for this instance.
